If you use VidMate Premium, you probably want to keep it up to date. New versions often work better, fix bugs, and sometimes bring in new features. But since VidMate isn’t on the Play Store, you can’t just tap “Update.” You have to do it manually.
1. First, Check Your Current Version
Open VidMate.
Go to the Settings or About section.
It’ll show the version number somewhere there. Just take note of it so you know if an update is even needed.
2. Find the Latest Version Online
Search for “VidMate Premium latest APK” in your browser.
Now this part’s important:
Only download from trusted sources. Avoid shady websites. They can be full of pop-ups or sketchy files. Good places to look:
- APKPure
- APKMirror
- Forums like Reddit or trusted Telegram groups
Always check the version number and date before downloading.
3. Download the APK File
Once you find a legit link, download the file to your phone. It’ll usually go to your Downloads folder. Wait for it to finish completely before doing anything else.
4. Allow App Installs from Unknown Sources
If your phone blocks the install, here’s how to fix it:
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Security or Privacy
- Turn on the setting that allows installing apps from unknown sources
Some phones let you allow it just for the browser you used. That’s safer.
5. Install the New Version
Go to your Downloads folder.
Tap on the VidMate APK file.
Hit Install.
If it asks to replace the old version, say yes. It won’t delete your videos or settings—it just updates the app.
6. Done. Open It and Use It
Once the install finishes, open the app like usual. You should now be running the latest version. If everything works fine, you’re good to go.
